Jessica Beadle aged 10 from 4th Stoneleigh Brownies is working towards her gold award, the highest award a Brownie can achieve. As part of this she is doing her charity interest badge . After seeing an urgent appeal advertised locally, she decided to help!
SOS:SEN Worcester Park has a number of shelves inside its charity shop providing food bank items to those in need. Their stock levels were really low and with half term coming up, more items were urgently needed.
Jessica appealed to her Brownie unit and local Rainbow unit to help and set up a donation day. With the support of APSA Auriol Junior school families also donated on a day.
The response was amazing! Jessica was invited to go and re-stock the empty shelves and help promote the project.
