As part of this year’s UK Parliament Week 1st Ewell Village (St Mary’s) Brownies went to Epsom Town Hall to meet the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell Councillor Clive Woodbridge and find out more about how local government works. The Brownies took part in a debate in the council chamber, held the official mace and asked loads of questions! UK Parliament Week is an annual event, spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how people can get involved. Thank you to the Mayor and Epsom and Ewell Borough Council for organising this for the unit.
